Consultancy and project management

  • Set up of a nutrition labelling program and implementation of the first logo in Europe that communicated calories per portion front-of-pack
  • Development of a nutrition & health policy action plan for the Dutch Food Industry Association, now part of the Dutch National Obesity Covenant
  • Interim project manager for sensory & consumer research agency OP&P; coordinating the research process from competitive quotes to final reporting


  • In-home interviews with recently-diagnosed Alzheimer patients and their carers, for a medical nutrition company
  • A qualitative study with nephrologists for a pharmaceutical company: identifying motives and barriers to prescribe a new drug for renal patients
  • Consumer insights for a baby food company: a qualitative study with young mothers using means-end-chain analysis
  • Coordination of a multi-country consumer sensory test (affective and descriptive) to test a new dairy drink
  • User research for a new design of home kitchen appliances
